Data Analysts drive the business through the lens of Claims, Sales, Financial and Operational data by empowering Best Doctors leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as strategic planning.

Best Doctors Insurance is seeking an experienced Data Analytics professional with exceptional stakeholder management to join the in-house team as a Data Analyst. This role will support the business in answering key questions and solving business problems aligned to the Best Doctors corporate strategy by using hands-on data skills to build advanced data products and enable our business to make value-driven decisions using data.

This role will serve as an active partner with functional leaders to perform research and analyses on a broad spectrum of issues.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building, figuring out the best way to achieve results, and working closely with a diverse set of teams. We need someone who enjoys operating in ambiguity and uses creativity to combat challenges.

This position plays a critical role in the agile squads by working with key business partners to deliver on data and analytical outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role will be based in Ecuador.

Qualifications / Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain data reporting systems, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in data sets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python and Tableau or Power Bi
  • Proven experience in data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
