UW Specialist Accident & Health

Main responsabilities :

1. Risk Analysis : Evaluate technical, medical, financial, and occupational information of insured individuals to assess the level of risk.

2. Policy Terms Establishment : Offer coverage options, exclusions, and rates based on risk assessment and underwriting manuals.

3. Documentation Review : Verify the forms related to engagement and ensure proper follow-up.

4. Regulatory and Policy Compliance : Ensure compliance with legal regulations and AIG Governance policies, adhering to the authority limits defined for A&H Ecuador.

5. Technical and Commercial Support : Aid agents, brokers, and other teams in interpreting terms and conditions. Support the AIG Distribution team in commercial meetings with brokers and clients regarding new business opportunities and account renewals.

6. Management of Requests and Renewals : Quote new proposals, modifications, or renewals for existing contracts.

7. Use of Technological Tools (SISE) and Risk Quoting Tools : Utilize specified tools for A&H risk quoting.

8. Claims Trend Monitoring : Analyze claims trends to adjust underwriting policies.

9. Training and Updates : Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes.

10. Quote Log Management : Track quotations and closures using our quote log tool.

11. Coordination of New Policy Issuances : Coordinate the issuance of new policies between departments (distribution, underwriting, operations).

12. Preparation of Bids : Prepare and submit bids as necessary.

13. Development and Implementation of New Strategies : Design and apply strategies to meet A&H goals.

14. Review of Correct Assignment of A&H OGIS Codes : Ensure the correct allocation of A&H OGIS codes and oversee the profitability of the line, taking corrective actions when necessary.
